Dixie ChixReporting
About Dixie Chix

Local. Woman-founded.
Built for the road.

Dixie Chix Reporting handles the paperwork that keeps commercial trucks legal for owner-operators, fleets, and excavation crews across Utah and the Intermountain West. We've been doing it since 2014, from one office on Bluff Street in St. George.

The name, the place, the people

Why “Dixie Chix.”

Dixie.

Utah's southwest corner has been called “Dixie” since the 1850s. Mormon pioneers were sent down here to grow cotton in the red-rock desert. The cotton mostly didn't take. The name stuck. A century and a half later, the red rock is still red, and the people who live and work here still call this country Dixie.

It's also one of the busiest trucking corridors in the West. I-15 runs north–south right through us; the routes to Boise, Salt Lake, Denver, and Vegas all touch this town. The trucks have to keep moving, and somebody has to handle the paperwork. That's us.

Chix.

Dixie Chix was founded in 2014 as a woman-owned shop on Bluff Street, and we're still independent, still small, and answering our own phone. We don't outsource the filings, and we don't farm out the answers when you call.

Over a decade in, we've filed for owner-operators with one truck and fleet managers with hundreds, for excavation crews running construction routes and for new carriers who just got their DOT number. Different jobs; same work.

What we believe

Four things we won't budge on.

  • Family-owned, by choice.

We're a small shop and we like it that way. When you call you'll talk to one of us. Not a call center, not a script, not a ticketing system.

  • Here year-round, not just at the rush.

A lot of compliance shops show up in July for 2290 and at IFTA quarter-ends, then disappear in between. We file every month of the year. Mid-year fleet changes, surprise inspection paperwork, a renewal that came up out of cycle. Bring it when it lands, not when the calendar says you're supposed to.

  • Local first.

We work in St. George because it's home. We know I-15, we know Utah DMV, and we know how this corridor moves: the routes between here, Boise, Denver, and Vegas.

  • Every form, every deadline.

Quarterly IFTA, annual 2290, biennial MCS-150, plate renewals across multiple states. We track the calendar so you don't.

The team

A small team that does its own filings.

Dixie Chix is run by Kelly, Isaac, and Ryan, with a small crew behind the desk. We don't subcontract the compliance work, and we don't pad the team with names that never touch your account. Same people, every time you call.
